What is The Village Design Statement Management committee?
The committee is made up of local volunteers who have been taking photographs of the village and documenting it’s character. This will be the basis of the village design statement that will guide Dover district council when considering planning applications and development.
It is hoped that it will be accepted as supplementary planning material and that it will be referred to in the light of how any applications will fit into the village character. After all who better to know what the village wants than the people who live in it. [FORUM]
